Really?

After reading a thread talk about how "graphic" Elfin Lied opening on so I got curious, and then got bored. Seriously it wasn't graphic for me. In fact I thought it was funny and shortly after I thought "what's next? A heart pop out onto another guards lap? Then I was proven right and the whole experience was not scarring at all except the thought that "If this is graphic for everyone else, then I must be crazy!"

So my question to you, the escapist. Is did this scene really gross you out?

Not really, but it was Graphic, cant deny that.

But it didnt freak me out.
I love Gore, and compared to the Gore iv seen(Beserk, Gantz, ETC) Elfin Lied was kinda bland.
Most of it was things iv seen before just done with invisible hands.

The Gore was interesting to me for a bit, then it just got meh.

By these definitions, yes. Elfen Lied is very gory.

I think that's pretty softcore. Once you start to dwell in Guro/Gore you start being shocked by a lot of things.

The elfin lied intro never bothered me. What gets me though is like, when in zombie land at the start where the woman on the free-way is chowing down on some guys innards....Got gets me. It makes me feel unconformable and makes me cringe. I actually find myself closing my eyes for bits like that.
