Really?

Once my friend did something so annoyingly pathetic I had the urge to smack him across the face, it is quite difficult to describe with a few adjectives, so I will just show what happened that made me want to pull my hair off. I could not remember the topic, but ended up with him rambling about me being this girl's "gay friend(a term he uses a lot)" When I was not gay to begin with and the girl I was talking to was not friends with either me or him. And he might have convinced himself that he was the greatest over thinker in the history of the universe. Which to him was a compliment.
So I ask a question. Do you remember a time when someone made possibly the stupidest and most obnoxious response to a perfectly normal conversation?

I said that, but I was joking. And then somebody took it far too seriously...

This one time, my buddy Kieth and I were at a concert, and he walked up to this big dude and started hitting on him. Got us both into a big fight then got us thrown out. I'da smacked him, but that was a damn good fight.

Sometimes I enter a state of half-conciousness where may I do and say really stupid or childish things. Then I "wake up" and regret my actions severely, sometimes I can't even bring myself to apologize because I'm so embarrassed.
