Reassembly/Void Hunters Issue

i'm excited about the game greatly, but i'm kinda worried about it/the future. The game looks great and makes me excited because it reminds me of an old flash game, if a little bit too much.

It looks like a more advanced version of void hunters with a bit more shiny bits added. Am i the only one seeing this and thinking something is wrong or i'm missing something?

They certainly share the twin stick spaceship combat concept, but they are not the only ones... there are many many more games done in this style. It's fine if you don't want to play another game in the same genre, but it doesn't mean that everyone is ripping off your favourite game.
