Rebecca Mayes to Appear on BBC
The Escapist's resident songstress is set to appear on a new TV show with acerbic media commentator and Yahtzee inspiration Charlie Brooker
The Yahtzee fans in the audience may be familiar with the name Charlie Brooker, as Yahtzee often cites him as one of his influences. Brooker, famous for his Screenwipe and Newswipe programs, is tackling videogames next in a new show called, somewhat predictably, Gameswipe [http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00n1j8q].
The lovely Ms. Mayes will be appearing on the very first episode, performing her review of MadWorld, on Tuesday 29th September at 10pm on BBC4. If you're in the UK and fancy singing along, the lyrics can be found here [http://www.gamepeople.co.uk/audio_wii_madworld.htm].
Also appearing on the show will be Irish comic and Mock the Week host Dara O'Brian, Father Ted scribe Graham Linehan and Rab and Ryan from the comedy gaming show Consolevania [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consolevania].
