I was just curious if any other escapist-poster would identify as a rebel and a loner. I feel this term has been romanticized and deflated in the modern era when social networking distills expression down to its base elements. I've never been one to derive a sense of pride out of what school I go to or what dumb subculture I've been shoehorned into. It could just be that I spent a long time struggling with my identity, and what it means to be true to oneself.
