Its possible, but hit-or-miss with Wine, apparently.

I use a Mac and I love it to death, but if you're going to game and use Apple products, know what you're getting into. Depending on how dedicated you are, it can be a not unpleasant experience, as long as you aren't dead-set on certain titles.

There's a point where it just is more practical to just go PC, but for now, are there no PC users in your life whose rig you could play the game on?

It's an RPG where you basically run an item shop. Really neat game.

Which means it's ACTUALLY A GAME ABOUT THINGS OTHER THAN VIOLENCE FOR ONCE!

Oh my goodness such a breath of fresh air. Yeah, there's combat and stuff. Yeah, but it's still a game about selling stuff. Playing the game kind of reminds me of Harvest Moon, if that makes any sense.

Also, I have no idea to work with Macs, I haven't ever been motivated to use them a lot because I'm not willing to pay such a premium just for video editing right now. But if it's anything like Linux, it's a pain. I've definitely tried getting Recettear to work in Linux. It's not a cinch or anything.

Hence why Linux still hasn't beat Windows. Nor obviously Mac for that matter. Windows is the most compatible operating system.
