I want more information on "On The Rain-Slick Precipice Of Darkness".

For those that don't know what I'm talking about, "RSPD" is an adventure-RPG created by the geniuses behind the Penny Arcade webcomic. It is set in a "Steampunk, Lovecraftian, alternate 1920's" city of New Arcadia, where your character, who you create, finds that his (or her) home is destroyed by a giant "Fruit-F##ker" robot, and he gains the assistance of private detectives Tycho Brahe and John Gabriel (from the webcomic) to figure out what the eff is going on (as well as find a new home).

Other info follows as such:
* It is episodic.
* You battle in an turn-based combat system.
* Enemies include robots, clowns, mimes, hobos, slumlords, and zombies.
* Your character fights with a rake, while Gabe punches and Tycho uses Tommy Guns.
* You use items, tag-team attacks, and super attacks that initiate minigames based on each
characters' personalities.
* You can also summon other characters, such as the super-smart cat, Thomas Kemplar, and
Tycho's niece, Anne Claire Brahe (AKA "Annarchy").
* And, at the beginning of each fight, each character and enemy rolls a 20-sided dice, and the
highest roll goes first.

Mostly, what I want to know what other Penny Arcade characters will appear in the game. So please reply with information and speculations.

This sounds insanely retarded.
I'd have to think it's genuinely supposed to be. A Penny-Arcade game isn't something that they could've treated with the remotest sense of seriousness anyway, so why not pile on the LSD?

All I have to say is that Div better be in there.
You just gave me a hilarious image: Div as a film noir private detective. "She was a touchy disc but I knew she had a case."

Wait, why does Gabe punch? I thought he fights with a cardboard tube.
You're thinking of the Cardboard Tube Samurai, who would be out of place in the setting of OtR-SPoD.

Besides, cardboard wasn't invented in the 1920's.

Cardboard, yes, cardboard tubes as we know them today, I don't think so. You all forget the real issue, which is that the Tube can cut through ANYTHING. Placing it in the game would mean portraying it unrealistically or potentially having it be a balance problem. :p

The Penny Arcade guys are constantly playing the latest versions of the beta, and they said the latest version was approaching the semblance of a real game.

In my opinion, it does look awesome. If it doesn't come out for the 360, I'll kill someone. Well, that someone's fish, at the least.
