Folks, I need to eat something that isn't boring. But I need flavours. Does anyone have any ideas for unusual combinations of food that would give an explosive taste sensation in the mouth? Has anyone tried anything new here or indeed is anyone a chef?

Also, can anyone suggest what I could add to this? Diced pears, seeped in red wine, with roasted carrots and beetroot. It doesn't seem quite enough but I don't want to kill it with something bland or outlandish.

A lemon combined with any form of carbonated water. Remember to eat the whole lemon.
If its too hard, try an orange.

You could always add some red onion. That should add some other flavours...

Easy steps for an easy suicide:
1. Buy mothballs and bleach.
2. Mix them.
3. You are on your own now.

OT: Get some potatoes, cinnamon powder, and some grease.
1. Warm up the grease, preferably in a deep-fat fryer.
2. Chop your potatoes up, in any style you wish.
3. Insert potatoes into melted grease.
4. Wait about 15 minutes.
5. Remove fried potatoes.
6. Add cinnamon powder. (other condiments at your whim.)
7. Be ready, these have a kick, and a sweet aftertaste.

Garlic. There is always a place for garlic in any savory application. Also, some type of meat would be good, unless you are a vegetarian.

One of my favorite recipes is very, very simple.
Heat a large pan with olive, or some other high-heat oil, over medium heat.
Add a few cloves of crushed and minced garlic to the oil, and let it sweat until the garlic is light-golden.
Add some kind of meat, I use Italian-seasoned ground pork sausage, but any ground or small-cut meat will do.
Let it cook, stirring to fully brown on all sides, and let it cook until desired doneness.
Add heavy cream at slow intervals and stir, letting it cook down a bit before adding more. The amount of cream you add will depend on your preferred ratio of cream to meat, and the number of people eating.
Mix some pasta into this, and you have a tasty, nutritious dinner.

Note: It will not be as delicious the next day, as much of fat in the sauce will have hardened in the refrigerator. It will still be good, just not as creamy.

Ever try to just make a nice omelette? add in some bacon, meican cheese, cilantro, green peppers and top it off with tobasco sauce right off the pan.

Also, try getting yourself a thick slice of sirloin and marinade that thing in Dr. Pepper for a few hours. Slap it on a grill and get yourself some mesquite seasoning. Grill lightly for about 3-4 minutes on both sides and enjoy.

And if you like fish, baked Tilipia is awesome, butter the meat in a pan and season with lemon pepper seasoning and bake for about 35-45minutes at 400 degrees.

Also got a nice recipe for baked Ziti I got off my mom that takes a little under 2 hours to make by hand.

I recommend getting some good quality curry sauce. There are many kinds and flavors of curry. Something suitable for just about any dish. They are not your ordinary everyday flavors (unless you eat Indian food all the time already). Another good choice is Greek Salad dressing. Unless you eat a lot of Indian or Greek food already, those types of sauces have flavors that will breathe new life into just about any meat and/or vegetable dish.
