Recognize a lost game :)

when i was a little bit younger i got a demo CD with my windows 98
that had few games on in(demos)
one of them was a game that im really curious about.
all i remember is that it occured in the future. and a scene, after you walk abit in the street you get to youre building and take an elevator to youre apartment, where you fall asleep and dream a nightmare about a monster.
something like that

i would love the fella that will recognize this

in the game youre a male and i think your from the police
it was a 3-d game

you can travel inside the city and you have a girlfriend( i think)
