Recomend me some 3DS games

My birthday is coming up in a about a month and I'm going to try and get a 3DS and I'm trying to decide on a few games to get for it.

So I have a few questions about the games: First is Devil Survivor Over clocked worth it for someone who bought the DS original. Second what are some games you'd recommend for the system. I'm willing to try any game but please no sports games or FPS's.

I've haven't played SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked yet, so I have no idea if there is any difference.

As for games, I would recommend any of Nintendo's first party titles. Not sure if you mean strictly FPS's or shooters in general, but Resident Evil Revelations gives the option to switch between 1st and 3rd person. Looks fantastic on the system, though the story and enemies are a bit bland.

Also, Tales of the Abyss 3D if you can find it. It's basically a ps2 port, with touch screen support.

I've heard good things from some friends on RE: Revolutions and I've always up for some Tales of on the go.

Aren't there like 10 games for the nintendo 3DS? I mean really . Anyways i'm bias sue to being a jrpg fan so . Smt devil survivor overclock and tales of the abyss are pretty good. Of course you can't go wrong with the mario games . Also try out the new kid icarus game , it looks pretty boss.
