Recomendations on a 2D Browser strategy game

Can anyone recommend any good 2D Browser strategy games. Used to play Travians a lot (and some others that i can't remember what they are called right now!) and looking to get back into one but don't really want to go back to one i've played before.

sorry, yes online Vs. multiplayer games. Would love to play some of the new 3D games but sadly moved into the middle of nowhere and haven't got a very fast internet connection anymore.

I'm pretty sure gindis is strategy, free, and still pretty fun, so I'd say give it a go...
