recomended games

all the games I posses have lost there entertaining quality, and now I have nothing to do, so what games do you recomend to me that are long but keep you going with entertainment, a good storyline and good game play. I'm not fused about what gets recomended but please only games that arent so hard to find I'll spend monthes trawling round eBay.

Though you really need to give us more of a description like the type of games you like, consoles, and such.

I'm happy to play anything exept sport or racing games, and I'v got conkers bad fur day and it was brilliant!

if you want my prefrences I'll play most RPGs and FPSs and I'd love a mix of the 2, also platformers with a good story line.

eh, Skate is not quite a sports game. there is a sport element to it if you want to play it that way but for the most part I use it like an animation suite, planning unique tricks and spending hours executing them.

It plays more like Gary's Mod at times.

I'd recommend Halo (any of them) but it'd probably start a flame war so I don't.

If you can find it go for Age of Wonders, it's a turn-based strategy.

Dude, go play System Shock 2. It'll rock your world.

System Shock 2 is a classic. Though I would dance a very happy dance indeed if someone remade it as a current-gen FPS mod or something. Even when it was released the graphics had a certain "meh" about them, which is sad considering how even with those bland graphics, it still scared the crap out of me, especially when mixed in with the creepiest audio tracks of any game ever.

No, I'm not. I'm cowering in the corner, pondering how I'm going to get to the next area with 2 bullets left, no psi points, 4 hps, and a bag of crisps.

BF:BC was pretty good, but it was really short, you could probably finish it in 2 days

heh, the fact the OP requested a game with time investment to beat takes almost all of those off the list.

Edit: don't get me wrong, all good games... just about 15 hours of combined playtime will see all of them shelved.

Edit: don't get me wrong, all good games... just about 15 hours of combined playtime will see all of them shelved.

Dues Ex, BG&E both have great amounts of stuff to do. Ico and SotC should be played no matter what.(If I could get my brothers ps2 then I would, Damn ps3 has no backwards retardation playability.)
