every pokemon game is in some ways a improvement over the last, with the only major advantage that gold and silver have is that they let you back across the previous region which was cool but because the way it was paced meant it was still the same length as the other pokemon games. This resulted in for the most part only the illusion of a bigger game. Though soul silver and heart gold are the only once with genuinely fun mini games.soren7550 said:The only thing I can think of right now is Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver, which I regard as the best in the series.
True, but it's these things that make me think that HG/SS is the best of the series. I love (most) of the mini games, I love how there's two regions to explore, the story, the characters, being able to make PokeBalls, hell, I even love it's menu!nuba km said:every pokemon game is in some ways a improvement over the last, with the only major advantage that gold and silver have is that they let you back across the previous region which was cool but because the way it was paced meant it was still the same length as the other pokemon games.
