The only comic I know is Walking Dead.If you're into that drama stuff and never really get atached to any characters.

Anything by Alan Moore.
Also, The Boys is good if you want something that insults superheroes and has tons of violence. Also, Deadpool is pretty good for laughs.

The only comic I followed for a long time was Spawn. But after issue 60 (or something like that), it became more of the same, so I din't buy it anymore. It is still decent though.

if you don't mind online comics, try out "Order of the Stick" or "Looking For Group". or if you're like me and don't mind filtering through the muck to find the gems, go to topwebcomics.com, or some similar site, and click and read random comics until you find one you like.

Ennis has frequently said he despises superheroes so it's not surprising. Best anti-superhero title since Mills and O'Neill did Marshall Law.

What I say to everyone is find authors you like, they're consistent in quality.

I'd recommend Warren Ellis (Next Wave: Agents of Hate, The Authority, Transmetropolitian, Ultimates Galatus Trilogy), Garth Ennis (The Boys, Preacher), Alan Moore (Watchmen, V for Vendetta, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) and Mark Millar (Kickass, Wanted, Ultimates 1 and 2, The Authority). Also would recommend authors such as Neil Gaimon (Sandman) and Brian K. Vaughn (Y - The Last Man).

It all depends on who's writing it. The comics that take place in the main Marvel Universe are generally pretty bad, but the ones under the MAX imprint, especially when written by Garth Ennis, are excellent. The limited series Born in particular is one of the finest comics I've ever read.
