Recommend a Good RTS?

Looking to find a good Real time strategy game, can't manage to find one. I'd like it to have online play (with Cooperative play between strangers), and well, that's about it.


Any suggestions?

Napoleon Total War is supposed to be really good. I'd try for that.

World in Conflict. Lots of co-op play in online, and it focuses on unit deployment and fighting rather than resource gathering.

Thanks for reminding me of Age of empire, I'm trying to find a place where I can buy a digital copy.


In the end, I think i'll for now i'll buy warcraft 3, and world in conflict. And later pick up total war.

Those are my predictions, as i've yet to try the demos.

Cultures 2: The Gates of Asgard.

An RTS of sorts, with some Sims-esque elements as well. It's strangely fun.
Also I desperately hope one day to find another person who liked it...
