I have about 14 dollars in my PSN wallet and wasn't sure what to spend it on. I could either get one 9.99 game or two 5.99. I've already played or at least own most if not all the JRPGs on there. Also own all the Resident Evil games and Silent Hill. There is however a slew of action adventure games and platformers I haven't played so that is what I'm mostly looking for.

I've heard great things about Tomba! and MediEvil has always looked interesting ever since the PS1 days but I never actually played it. What would you recommend?

If you haven't already played them Spyro 1,2 or 3, or Crash Bandicoot warped.

Already beat to recomending Crash Bandicoot, but how about MGS1 or Abe's Odyssey if they are available.

MediEvil is indeed a pretty good one, and of course I'm a big fan of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. Just be warned that the latter is fairly short and easy.

Yeah I always wanted to play the Spyro and Crash Bandicoot series. During that time I was huge into N64 so that is where I played the majority of my platformers so I missed out on a lot of the PS1 games.

I'm already leaning towards Tomba. I notice physical copies of Tomba 1 and 2 are pretty rare and expensive. Another game I wish was on PSN is Heart of Darkness.

Yeah I own Metal Gear Solid. I got it the day it came out back in the late 90s.

A friend of mine had 2 copies of Abe's Odyssey. The ugly green greatest hits and black label. He just recently gave me the green label one since he had no use for it. I should check it out. Maybe if I enjoy it I could get the other one "Abe's Exodus" is it? I heard the latter is a bit more forgiving in regards to save points and such compared to the first one.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Fear Effect!

<<< *points repeatedly and enhusiastically to my avatar*

it's a sci-fi horror set in Hong Kong, China and Hell. Plays quite similarly to the original Resident Evil games, but with cel shaded characters, genuinely good writing and the best video game voice acting I've heard outside of Bioware - which is really saying something given it was made in the PS1 era.

There's also Fear Effect 2, which adds some more polish to the visuals and otherwise delivers the same lashings of sex, violence and smart, funny dialogue.

I agree with this as long as it's not the original ps1 version with all 4 discs .

Insert disk 1>> insert disk 3>>> insert disk 2>>>insert disk1>>>insert disk4>>>insert disc GAH DAMMIT!

OT: well since we are doing this. Me and Noa suggest Legend of legaia . But whatee you do don't play Legaia 2 ( Ps2) you have been warned.
