I've heard that bioshock is pretty good but a little to easy, I want something challaging and entertaining.
Well im good with TPS but I heard that mass effects gamplay was a little easy and simple, borderlands would get a little repetative for my tasteCowabungaa said:FPS RPG? Then your choice is pretty limited to Borderlands. I didn't really like it myself as I was forced to play though it alone which made it very easy and very repetitive. You can only see so many brown scrapheaps and shoot that many Bandits (who have some of the worst AI I've ever seen in this generation of games) before you get enough of it y'know.
Then there's BioShock which has sóme RPG elements and is great fun, and it's pretty damned hard if you turn the VitaChambers off. It offers a pretty compelling narrative (I never wanted to kill a last boss that bad, shame the fight itself was meeh) and a véry interesting environment. Creates a unique and brilliant atmosphere.
Other than that there's the Mass Effect series, but they're TPS not FPS. The gameplay is quite solid though, but the actual shooting is better developed in the second game. The second however toned the whole character customisation and exploration down a bit.
I tried it, it wasnt very exciting for me, dont get me wrong the VATS aiming system was a rip snorting good time but it got really easy really quick.Leopard said:Fallout 3?
Easy you say? Try the higher difficulty setting. You see my avatar? Yeah, you'll pull that face.lifesucksadapt said:im good with TPS but I heard that mass effects gamplay was a little easy and simple, borderlands would get a little repetative for my taste
I'd like to describe it as Diablo-with-guns, but infinitely worse. Diablo manages to keep some variety in it. Enough with the goddamn scrapheaps already! Góds...meticadpa said:Borderlands isn't really an RPG... it's an FPS game with very small RPG elements.
thats not an rpg tho... and isnt it not very good?TheYellowCellPhone said:I have one word for you, and many Escapists will agree:
