this is a follow up thread from the Alienware one
I know that doing it yourself is the cheaper option the warranty of a manufacturer is a safer thought so can anybody recommend me a gaming computer for around 1000 Euro,s (around 1244 US$)
just name the brand and model
PS half of the money comes from my mom and she wont let me spend it on loose parts I dont mind switching out RAM or video/sound cards

Did this warrant a new thread? This is the second PC gaming help thread to haunt the first page in such a short time frame. Anyway....

I would say shop around your regional electronic/PC shops. Dell usually has a good range, so does HP, Acer and Toshiba. In fact you can find a decent gaming computer if you sorted through the specs on their respective sites.

Failing that, you can pay someone to build a custom rig for you if you don't have the patience for it. That way if something breaks you can simply replace it without having to worry about warranties. It would still be cheaper than buying preset computers.

Yeah pre-builts are NOT the way to go. Even the "best pre-built gamming computer"s on the market are less powerful than what you could make, and for a cheaper price. I know I will never buy a prebie again. EVER.
