Recommend me a nice easy FPS

Team Fortress 2!
I was pretty bad at it at first, but the animations were so amusing (especially the death cam) that I really didn't care that I was dying so much.

If you have a ps2, I found Black to be laughably easy on normal. So you can basically imagine what easy was like.=) Also, COD4 wasn't that hard. I would say start with Black or L4D, and work up to Bioshock. After that, you should be average at worst.

Well imo Bioshock is one of the harder FPS's since you have to manage your ammo quite well.

Yeah, there is one contributing factor. You also need to know what plasmids and tonics best suit the situation, which can be hard, but I usually lucked out when it came to that.

Well, I suppose you could use Star Wars: Battlefront (for the original Xbox) if you just wanted to practice. I learned the controller button scheme from playing that game alone; it was so easy and it taught me well enough to play COD4 on veteran.

Any fps on easy difficulty is an easy FPS. Try halo, (not a stab at halo) or if a friend has a PS3, you could try Resistance. Don't forget to switch the difficulty to easy since you said you wanted it easy, Halo on legendary is brutal..by yourself, anyways.

Gotta agree with this guy. You can probably find it for free on the PC. It'll be the Shareware version which will only be the first episode, but it's what I learned on and I can shoot with the best of 'em.

bioshock is a first-person RPG. but no matter, that and Painkiller should be quite awesome.

I fail to see how Bioshock is an RPG other than a few elements found in other, better games that certainly didn't get the horrible "FPSRPG" label.(Undying is one of those games)
