What you just suggested to him was like telling someone who asked what kind of pizza they should order that they should get a bowl of clam chowder.

Cool your jets. I see that you are really excited about PS:T but there is no reason to dismiss one of the creator of the games favourite titles and influences.

He wanted games that were like the ones he listed, which are all very similar. Chrono Trigger is nothing like any of those games.

Actually, he just listed game that he has played and is asking for old school. No issue.

I too would also recommend Chrono Trigger and a bunch of SNES RPGs, if you can still get them. As for PC gaming, probably Wizardy or any of the Forgotten Realms series (Eye of the Beholder for a good laugh!)
