recommend me a WW2 Strategy game, I've played R.U.S.E and I think I want to play something a little slower paced.

I'm not the biggest strategy fan, but...
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is an fps squad strategy.
Battlestations: Midway and Pacific would probably be worth checking out too.
I don't know if these fill your requirement of "slower paced" though.
That's all I got, I hoped I helped.

Company of Heroes will be the most suggested I think. If I were you, I would go straight to gog and get commandos. http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/commandos_ammo_pack

Hearts of Iron, maybe?

Very in-depth and grand strategy focused. Though there is a steep learning curve, and it definitely isn't for everyone.

Check out Combat Mission, the games are simultaneous turn based and very very deep. You can get at least one of the games on GOG. They are more tactical than strategy if you want to be a pedant.

You've got to get Company of Heroes [http://store.steampowered.com/sub/553/]. It's truly one of the best RTS games ever made. I just played the British campaign in Opposing Fronts (the first expansion) over the past two days. Time just flew by... it's so much fun and can be really intense.

The tutorial is boring as hell (as with pretty much every RTS game), but from then on it's stellar.

Try Panzer General. Turn based strategy, focused on the German's side of the war. The sequels even had campaigns where you turned the tide and invaded England & the U.S. Really old, really cheap, may god have mercy on your soul if you try o play it on a Mac.

I would also recommend the Hearts of Iron series (I can only attest to Hearts of Iron 2, the first one wasn't ok and I didn't play 3). Although I didn't think the learning curve was too bad. Most of the mechanics are intuitive (Tanks move slower through mountains, attackers are less effective at night or crossing rivers, etc). It's more like being the dictator of a country rather than a general on a single battlefield (but if that is what you want, there are smaller campaigns that focus on The Battle of the Bulge, or Operation Barbarossa, etc.). My main complaint about the game is that playing a democratic country sucks because your morale drops a lot if you declare war on anyone and you end up twiddling your thumbs until the Axis AI decides to attack you.
