Recommend me anime

I made a thread yesterday about the Hellsing anime and after watching it. (Only the dubbed versions so far so OVA 1-4) I can say I really loved it. It had a great theme and there was so much gore it was delicous.

I had a few problems with it for example the "police girl" was in my opinion only there for the sex appeal. She has a few great scenes but in general she doesnt really serve a purpose. Atleast that is how I viewed it.

Beside Hellsing are there any other good Horror/Action animes outthere? There is A LOT of anime out there some good some bad. I dont really have a lot of experience with anime. But some people on this forum have so I would like too hear their opinions about it.

I would recommend Cowboy Bebop, Black Lagoon, and the first season of Darker Than Black (DTB is only in english subtitles as far as I know.)

Hmm, im not really sure about Horror Anime.

The only one i can think of is called Monster, and then its a Psycho Horror.
But regardless its an excellent series.

Also if you liked Hellsing then check out the manga.
Its a lot better and Victoria(Police Girl) is developed as a character a lot more.

Darker than Black was dubbed. Competently, at that.

OT: Neon Genesis Evangelion has good action.

Shiki is a horror series that I heartily recommend.
