Im looking for some potential new favorite bands, and i'd like if you guys would recommend me something.

Heres my last fm http://www.last.fm/user/Nazz3/library you can check out there what bands i'm already listening.

Im mainly looking for metal / rock bands but you can still recommend me anything you want, as long as its good! That includes hip hop, classical etc.

Go go go!

Last.fm just introduced me to Closure in Moscow. I'm liking them quite a bit so far.

Also The Fall of Troy. Good stuff.

you need some better tunage bro. what do you listen to when you got a babe in your car and you're cruisin' around trying to get laid?
If there's a babe in my car already why am I cruising around?

Frank Turner - Best lyricist I know of - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaLmmE2hVI4

Machine Head - Awesome metal band - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhkQEWKeqTE

Rise Against - Awesome Punk band (with a lot of meaning behind their songs) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-SQGOYOjxs

Killswitch Engage - Pure Brilliance - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTiktZzPguU (they have less heavier stuff than this one if you're not into it)

Enter Shikari - Really quite unique - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAR9_NgSDLQ

There's loads more that spring to mind, but I think they should do :)

But yeah you're right, thats why I said that anything goes

Periphery. I recommend them to everyone, all the time, regardless of taste because that's what they deserve
They're part of the 'djent' genre, a mathcore-infused subgenre of metal. They're kinda like... ohmygodwow!!!1!1!!1!

Enjoy:
And you will enjoy

Ew Killswitch
Oh noes! You don't like 1 of the 5 I posted, that must mean they all suck, and it's not worth your time listening to them!

These guys are a little more folky, but man I love them:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNy8llTLvuA

Also, if you're in to them then go for Dropkick Murphys(probably my all time favourite band), they're folky but a lot heavier than Mumford and Sons.
