Anything and everything Rare made for the system - Banjo Kazooie, Tooie, Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini, Killer Instinct, Donkey Kong 64, etc. I'd also check out stuff like Turok and if you're going obscure, look into Snowboard Kids. Super Mario 64 is a must, as well as the Zeldas. F-Zero was fun, but the gamecube version was better in my opinion - same for Wave Race. Also, if you like flying games at all Pilotwings 64 was just a lovely lovely game. Also, get yourself Rogue Squadron and Shadows of the Empire if you like original trilogy Star Wars. Hell, even Battle for Naboo is a pretty solid game considering the weak source material.

I'd make Pilotwings a priority though. I wanna play that right now, come to think of it.

A whole lot of games...such as:

Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie
Battletanks
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Diddy Kong Racing
Donkey Kong 64
Harvest Moon
Killer Instinct Gold
Kirby and the Crystal Shards
Legend of Zelda (Majora's Mask and, Ocarina of Time)
Mario Kart 64
Mario Party 1&2 (2 more than 1 but both are good)
Mischief Makers
Mystical Ninja Goemon
Paper Mario
Perfect Dark
Pokemon Snap
Snowboard Kids (1&2)
Star Fox
Star Wars Rouge Squadron
Star Wars Shadows of the Empire
Super Smash Bros
Turok Dinosaur Hunter (also 2 and 3 apparently)
Yoshi's Story

I love the N64...I honestly haven't played mine in a while though honestly but mainly because of how addicting Harvest Moon was. There's a part of me to go back to it honestly.

Damnit I have basically no recommendations left :(

No! Wait!! No one Recommended Bomberman and Bomberman Hero :)

Get Them!
I had almost forgotten this game existed.

It was so genuinely good and the bomb mechanic was so fun, it's quite astonishing bomberman has never gone by way of his Nintendian cousins and branched out further from his arcade origin

I forgot all about those games! Last time I played one, they hadn't aged that well, gameplay wise. I'm still pissed that only 1 and 3 are on the PSN, and that there's never been a comeback for him.

The lack of "LEgend of the MYstical Ninja starring Goemon" is truly saddening.

I mean...

The game goes from (awesome) Zelda clone, to platforming in that giant robot (Who's on skates and wants to be a pop star in America), to fighting other giant robots in first person!

This is a GREAT game. Seriously, I'll take this over Ocarina of Time.

Also, Killer Instinct Gold, and 1080 Snowboarding are also fantastic games, but Goemon. Get that.
Oh lawd, that theme song, it's everything that's awesome about 70's anime. I need to go watch some ancient Japanese cartoons now.

Lol I was just playing this on multiplayer with my friends fairly recently (found my N64 while cleaning and went to town with it). We had so much fun, but it did not hold up as well as I thought it would've. We were horrible against the AI's cause we couldn't get used to holding the button down to "aim" instead of just having two control sticks.

Might I recommend almost anything by Tatsunoko Productions?
Also, for something a bit more modern (90's), King of Braves GaoGaiGar!

What sucks is that the dev behind the Gex titles is the developer Crystal Dynamics and is unfortunately making the Tomb Raider games.

I would love a current gen Gex title

Aw, somebody already said Silicon Valley. That was gonna be my unique contribution to the thread. :(

Anyways...

Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask
Super Mario 64
Paper Mario
Mario Kart
Perfect Dark
Super Smash Bros
Starfox 64
And of course, Silicon Valley. (Actually it's Space Station Silicon Valley but I've always just shortened it)

Most of these have been said at least fifteen times but meh.

It's funny that you mention Tatsunoko, because the original 70's Casshern is what first came to mind when I heard the music. I need to find the rest of that series -- Youtube has the first episode, but not the rest.

Is Earthworm Jim on N64 I had it on Sega Mega Drive and thought that was the only platform it was released on?
