Well, as if I hadn't made it clear enough already, I'm a huge RTS gamer, I play them constantly. However, after beating just about all of them, I've realized that a trip to my local Best Buy/Ebay/Amazon is in good taste, so I've come here to get a few recommendations.

What I own and have played before
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3
Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath
Command and Conquer 4: Tiberium Twilight
Starcraft and Brood War
The Entire Company of Heroes series.
Faces of War
Supreme Commander and the Expansion pack, can't remember the name.
The entire Dawn of War series, including DOW2 and Chaos Rising.
Universe at War: Earth Assault
R.U.S.E Demo

I'm also willing to accept mods or conversions for the Company of Heroes games, Brood War, or Red Alert 3, which are all currently installed and ready to go. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Also, please don't just say "Starcraft 2". I have my own reasons for not buying Starcraft 2, I may buy it someday, but right now I'm looking for other games. Thanks.

Starcraft 2 (Edit: Oh shit, the edit xD)
Warcraft 3
Age of Empires 2 if you're willing to accept some age
If you're at all into "grand strategy" Europa Universalis 3 and Rome/Medieval 2: Total War

Feels like I've forgotten about something.

Dawn of War. I could swear that wasn't in your post when I typed this originally.
Empire At War.
Spellforce 2. (It's an RPG/RTS Hybrid)

http://www.companyofheroes.com/ is the newest form of CoH, though its still in beta and not very balanced as of yet.

those are most of the good/ok ones on your list of already played. Its from 03 but Rise of nations was pretty good.

Stronghold, or Stronghold crusader. Stronghold has a better story mode, crusader has more replay value. Both fairly old games so they're cheap, but they're both epic too.

I've heard Sins of a Solar Empire is really good.

Also, I used to love Total Annihilation 2 when I was little. Although you'd have to pirate that game since it's old as hell and isn't on the shelves anymore XD

Haegemonia: Legions of Iron, 3D space RTS, absolutly amazing, just leave the expansion well enough alone.

Again

Haegemonia: Legions of Iron

Rise of Nations is pretty old now but I still love it.
Ground Control 2 and Supreme Commander 2 are two of my favourites.

Heard positive things about Age of Empires 3 & Act of War but I never played them.

There was a TA2!?!?! If you meant just normal TA you can get it from Stardock the same platform as Sin of a Solar Empire, oh if you liked that try Haegemonia

If you want a slightly different RTS experience, try Brutal Legend. It blurs the line between hack-n-slash and RTS games. It's been described as a "stealth RTS" in Yahtzee's review of it. Plus, it's Metal. \m/

You might also enjoy the Heroes of Might and Magic series (specifically II, IV, and V) if you want a more fantasy-based RTS.

Just to clarify, I don't really care what year the games were released in. So long as they're fun. I also love hybrid games. Keep the suggestions coming!

Heh. I've literally played and enjoyed every single Dawn of War there is, I think the original one or possibly Chaos Rising are my current favorites.

I haven't seen it up, so I'm nominating my FAVOURITE RTS.

Age Of Mythology.

It's like age of empires 2, but with smoother gameplay, less blocky maps, more mystical, and the editor mode is amazing and relatively easy.

Also Warhammer PC, I haven't played but I've heard glowing reviews.

What?!? i guess maybe i shouldn't get so worked up, but HOMAM 3 is in my top five best games ever, and it was excluded here. Then I reminded myself that this thread is about RTS, not TBS, and chilled. sooooo, anyway.
I really liked Age of Mythology (age of empires 1 with cool monsters)
Rise of Nations.
If your into the old skool, give an ancient game called Blood and Magic a try.
But I definitely recommend going into the Turn-Based side of the force, and checking out Heroes of Might and Magic III!

Rise of Nations : Rise of legends.

Pretty decent strategy game.

My alltime favorite Solo Rts would be Spellforce 1. That game will last you just the campaign alone over 2-3 weeks of continous play. Its is a absolute must play of any real Rts gamer.
All the things that were negative reviewed toward is was due to reviewers rts incompatence.

1 hint would to play either as a heavy weapon specialist or archer. It is hard not playing those as the character system of that game is very advanced and not perfectly balanced.

Do not bother getting Spellforce 2, the game is bland and has a horrible story and character development.

I own both and have played through both so i urge you to try them. Spellforce 1 has the best loadscreens evah WIN and also 2 massive expansions that build on the game and not just some cheesy knockoff.
