I've recently departed somewhat from my usual Fantasy novels and have attempted to find some decent Sci-fi to read. Through word of mouth I've picked up Asimov's Foundation series, I've just finished Ender's Game and started on the sequel (the name escapes me at the moment) and I'm fairly certain I've read everything in the Dune universe. I haven't actually read any modern Science Fiction though, and I'm not really sure who to look for, so if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate the help.
