Anything by Stephen Lynch. Be warned however, they are hilariously offensive.

Please note these are bands, you can't go wrong with the song choices
Sonata Arctica
Blind Guardian
Helloween
Finntroll
Stratovarius
Bathory

That should give you a good start.

Project Pitchfork are my favorite band [http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=xCDLLHibTtU]. Kinda electro-goth style.

First of all what kind of genres do you like? I mean I could recommend Bowie, Misfits, Amy Winehouse, Vaughn-Williams, Metallica, and any number of other things that are on my ipod but what would be the point if you don't like a certain genre. Be more specific and I'll come up with some good songs.

Bell X1, Belle and Sebastian, Ben Folds, Damien Rice, David Bowie, Fionn Regan, Frou Frou, Gorillaz, Joe Purdy, Lisa Hannigan, Modest Mouse, The Postal Service, Scapegoat Wax, The Shins, Zoey Van Goey

I can't be bothered justifying my selection. Accept it. Move on.

gallatea i like everything but rap, and even some rap is nice, but i would really like some jazz or blues, i have a total lack of soul-music.

Hmmm soul. Not really my area of expertise but I will recommend you try Nina Simone and give the Winehouse a try. It's not really soul but it's catchy.
Edit: Specific songs then;
I ain't got no...I got life
Feelin Good (both nina simone)

Tears dry on their own, or Wake up alone.
I like Winehouse's back to black album.

What kind of music are you into?

I can recommend Agalloch, Alcest, Centenaire, Cynic, Dredg, Elliott Smith, Explosions in the Sky, GY!BE, and more.

I listen to a lot of music. If you wanted more suggestions, just let me know.

Jazz I can help with. I'm sure you probably know Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, and John Coltrane, but do you know the greatest reindeer of all? Charles Mingus is my god, I really recommend "Mingus Ah Um," "Mingus, Mingus, Mingus" and "The Black Saint and The Sinner Lady" as far as albums go.

For Jazz I also strongly recommend Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, Bill Evans, Lester Young, Ornette Coleman, Bud Powell, Archie Shepp, and Max Roach.

For more modern Jazz I recommend John Zorn, who's discography written in Times New Roman, Font 12, single spaces, printed out would stretch all the way around the planet Earth.

Also, Estradasphere is THE eclectic music fans band. They're my favorite Avant-Garde group of all time. Has anyone else written a Blue Grass song with a Sludgey Doom Metal bridge? I thought not.

If you want me to recommend more types of music, let me know. I'd rather not make this post a complete cluster fuck.
