If you're in the mood for some hilariously bad scifi then I recommend 'Mars'.

It's a 2010 movie and it's even cellshaded for your watching pleasure.

If you're up for a movie you probably have to read, the Swedish versions of 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (Men Who Hate Women)' are accessible via Netflix - all three movies - and they're excellent adaptations of the books. Certainly superior to the English versions, to say the VERY least.

While we're on the topic of Swedish books made into movies that also got an American version, Let the Right One In is a good, subtle vampire movie.

That being said, I don't know of too many movies that are along the lines of those mentioned by previous posters, but I can always recommend Dead Like Me for things to watch on Netflix. Its one of the few shows I'll willingly watch multiple times. Good if you like somewhat dark humor.

I recommend...

Uhh... Not pirating. Because that's bad!

And The Fantastic Mr. Fox is... Fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Once Upon a Time in China 2, it's a martial arts movie and you're probably going to need subtitles unless you can speak Mandarin or Cantonese. Anyway, it's fun, you might like it.
I don't think you'll miss much by starting with the second movie, it's better than the first one, IMO, and I don't think seeing the first one is necessary for enjoying the second.
