So I just saw a thread asking people to suggest some guitar solos and that got me thinking. I've been playing bass for about a year now and have built up a reasonably big music library and recently I've run out of songs (with interesting basslines) to learn. So Escapists, any nice/interesting basslines out there? Many thanks!

Also it might help if I post a list of songs I know,
A little Piece Of Heaven
American idiot
Back In Black
Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
Chelsea Dagger
Christian's Inferno
Creeping Up The Backstairs
Danger! High voltage!
Dani California

Go on ultimate guitar archive and click the top 100 list. Just choose bass tabs, and you can get a lot of ideas there. Personally I would recommend any bass lines you can find by L'arc en Ciel. The bassist is really good and the basslines are a lot of fun to play.

You must learn this.

Fun to play, and not as hard as it sounds.

Date Rape by Sublime - a lot of fun to play, once you adjust to the somewhat odd time signature

Well, the baseline in Feel Good Inc. by Gorillaz is great, but it is also incredibly simple. I would suggest many of Rush's songs.

Pink Floyd - Time
Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.

Both amazing bass lines, both take you 5 mins to learn. :)
Schism and The Pot by Tool are also fun, good luck getting the sound right though.

It's good and not too complicated, but quite fun. Although I play the ol' six string, so I'm not an expert on bass.
