Recommend Some Good Books?

Currently I have been reading John Dies At the End by David Wong, and I'm a bit more interested in reading(usually I only read if it's either funny/based on webcomics I like, or if it's required for school) and wondering what good books are out there.

I've never heard of books based on webcomics that involve cats and quirky relationships and awkward social situations.

If you want real reading, try Dean Koontz, for thriller/supernatural stuff and moderate fantasy. I'm personally reading the Wheel of Time and probably will be for the rest of my life.
