Well my PS2 Slim came in and had some games but im looking for some recommendations of games I should look out for at my gamestop and ebay.

I Like most games except Sport games (except racing), Poker, Strategy and scream down a mic thinking you sound like Phil Collins (+1 Rep if anyone guesses the game I mean)

I've got a bunch of these that ill drag to my local gamestop and trade in hopefully will get me at least 1 game that id deem playable!

The Games I own are

The Thing
Twisted Metal: Black Online
True Crime: New York City
Gun
Battlefield 2: Modern Combat
Riding Spirits 2
Gladiator Sword of Vengeance
Tourist Trophy - The Real Riding Simulator (Yea Motorbike version of GT made by same ppl)
Medal of Honor: Frontline

I Really dont mind JRPG's or WRPG's, I Love FPS, Survival Horror and Racing but Ill give anything as long as it aint the types Ive mentioned.

So people, Can you recommend me games?

SHADOW OF THE MOTHERFUCKING COLOSSUS!

I only recently played it. It's one of the best games ever made. Get it now.

Sadly, it can be difficult to find. But definitely try.
This. Also try and grab a copy of Ico, made by the same guys and is also fucking awesome.

Well, given what I'm playing right now:

Kingdom Hearts? :p

I'm afraid that any other recommendation I'll throw your way will be either action platformers or RPG's. :p

But yeah, Kingdom Hearts is a great game, but if you'd prefer an action platformer: Ratchet & Clank. Definitely.

Would you believe that I forgot that was on PS2?
No, I would not.

For that wouldn't make my counter-ninja as sweet.

scarface is pretty cool too.
I'm still shocked over how fun that game was.

I mean, it's based on a movie. It should suck!

But it was awesome!

I'm not sure if you're okay with the JRPGs or not but if you are then Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 are hands down two of the best JRPG's I've played in a while. Both have a darker atmosphere(3 more so than 4) and play with different themes, P3 with Death and P4 with the truth. Both game's dungeon crawling and social sim aspects are pitch perfect though P4 does benefit from being a sequel so game play was tightened and more fine tuned

I have to agree with Furburt on this and go with Shadow of the Colossus. There;s also the excellent Sly Cooper series, a trilogy of excellent platformers. The Ratchet and Clank games are all great as well, a series of third person shooters with loads of humor.

Should we really go over this?

[HEADING=2]A-hem. "Voice in the back" speaking. Ratchet & Clank, duh.[/HEADING]

If you want some elaboration - those are one part platformers, one part puzzles, two part third-person shooters, and all four part awesome.

Addendum: you should probably know that many fans dislike fourth installment (Deadlocked/Gladiator).

I agree with most of the titles already mentioned (SoC and TS3 especially). I recommend the Resident Evil Pack, if you can find it. It includes Code Veronica X, #4, and Outbreak - quite a bunch if you haven't played them.

Damn, I'm boggling my mind trying to think of more, as I don't have my collection in front of me. Killer7 comes to mind - it's absolute insanity and hella fun. Dark Cloud and its sequel aren't half bad. I recommend ALL of the Shin Megami Tensei games, as they're all fantasic (though Nocturne is my favourite).

Also, enjoy The Thing. It's totally underrated, yet it's a classic, scary-as-hell horror game.
