Persona 3 and 4. GET THEM!

EDIT: KOTOR is only for PC and Xbox
If I am interested in Persona, would I have to play the first and the second as well?

No you don't. They can be treated as stand alone games. There are plenty of little references for people who have played the games, which are quite nice.

Nope. The stories, characters and cities are completely unrelated. There are one or two very minor throwaway references to the old games in P3. Can't remember anything in P4, although you do briefly visit P3's setting in P4.

Remember, before anyone makes responses to fanboy like behavior, remember this, DON'T FEED THE TROLLS.
OT: I didn't play my ps2 much, but eh, when I was 8 my mom got me this absolutely weird game called Ribbit King, I was expecting it to be horrible, but it was actually pretty fun. :D
So uh yeah, I'd have to say Ribbit King because it's a pretty damn fresh idea. Golf+Frogs=Frolf. Kinda short though, and obviously made for people who are 8 years old, but hey! I can still enjoy my old preschool games when I get bored! Blue's Clues Treasure Hunt anyone? That game was freakin' awesome! :D

Oh, ok. i don't like having to hunt down every game in a franchise to get to the best one.

Im going for the more obscure ones.

Romance of the three kingdoms Either 7(if you like RPGs) or 11(if you perfer strat/rts)

Xenosaga series is not actually all that bad.

Kings field games where you can find them.

Soul reaver 2.

Im sure theres some others, but meh @ working. Im busy trying to find a way of rigging my PS2 to be ran through my PC.

Not that any of these suggestions are new, but Silent Hill 2 and 3 are fun if you're into survival horror, and Shadow of the Colossus is fun if you're into good games.

And if you haven't played any God of War titles, my condolences to you.

Suikoden 3 is a pretty good RPG that can eat up a lot of your time, or hell take the .Hack games, all 7 of them (that's including .Hack G.U as well) those can also eat up plenty of your time till November rolls around.

I would also recommend The Bouncer, I thought it was a pretty decent game, it's not for everyone since its short and somewhat odd. Also Final Fantasy X was a game I loved.

Also I would say to pick up Grandia 2 and Star Ocean: Till the End of Time (I think that's what its name was...) and cant forget Front Mission or Armored Core

Edit: Dammit, I forgot to mention Dark Cloud 1 & 2 :(

Hitman: Blood Money. It's such a great game. In fact, it's the only game I know where:

1 - Trying to correct your mistakes because you were a little sloppy is half the fun. And:

2 - Being sloppy and murderous because your disguise got blown makes you feel like bad without the game saying anything.

You should definitely check it out!
