I really like watching LPs while playing games--especially if I happen to be grinding.
I'm now starting to run out, however, and could use some more. I prefer to watch the more comedic commentary kind. I don't need someone showing me how to get through the game, because I'll either have already played it or don't care waht happens.

The LPs I already watch are...
Two Best Friends
The Spoiler Warning Show
LRR (Graham and Paul) LP
and Yahtzee's LPs.

I know about Gaming Grumps. I'm kind of skeptical of them, and I'm not sure if I want to try watching them or not. So if you're familiar with that show, I'd like to hear about it.
Thanks.
If you're a fan of their original show, Team FourStar's Let's Plays with Takahata01 and Lanipanator (Nappa and Vegeta) are freaking hilarious.

While the SomethingAwful forums are known for some pretty bad elitism they make some damn good LPs.
Chip and Ironicus [http://www.youtube.com/user/ChipCheezumLPs]
Slowbeef [http://www.youtube.com/user/slowbeef] and Diabetus [http://www.youtube.com/user/DiabetusRP] and their alternate channel where they play adventure games and make fun of bad LPs [http://www.youtube.com/user/retsupurae]

Oh, and I know you're talking about watching stuff, but this text LP of Princess Maker 2 [http://lparchive.org/Princess-Maker-2/] is seriously one of the best ones out there.

[sub][sub][sub][sub]there's also me if you want it but I'm not that great [http://www.youtube.com/user/MrHaza2][/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub]
I knew you'd ninja me. You're the only other person who ever brings up Chip & Ironicus.

But yeah, second for C&I. They're a damn riot, especially No More Heroes and 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. Retsupurae is really funny, but I don't particularly care for their Wrongpurae's over adventure games myself. They tend to drag by much slower than when they riff on shitty LPers or flash games.

Also tally up another point for Two Saiyans Play [https://www.youtube.com/user/TFSTwoSaiyans/videos?view=0]. It helps if you know the TeamFourStar DBZ abridged stuff, but so long as you have a mostly-working knowledge of DBZ in general there's not much that'll fly by you.

As far as the Game Grumps go... it's a bit of a mixed bag. If you want to see people being funny while actually making progress within the game they're playing, you should probably avoid them.

Good LPs to listen to when I'm playing FFXI you say? I don't think any of my suggestions are going to be side-splitting funny but let's go with...

SuperJeenius [http://www.youtube.com/user/SuperJeenius]
Josh Jepson [http://www.youtube.com/user/JoshJepson]
TheRunawayGuys(and girl...) [http://www.youtube.com/user/TheRunawayGuys]

If you like your humour to be a little more basic and crude, Lucahjin [http://www.youtube.com/user/lucahjin] is a pretty good laugh. She's also done quite a few joint RPs with Takarifreak [http://www.youtube.com/user/takarifreak] on the Sierra adventure games that are definitely worth a view.

My last suggestions isn't so much humourous RPers but definitely interesting, Super Beard Bros [http://www.youtube.com/user/ThatOneLaserClown]. They don't have too many funny moments but they love to discuss gaming in general and usually have some interesting fact, trivia or just general knowledge on the specific game or genre they're playing.

As for Game Grumps? They're super hit and miss. They say they're focused on bringing out a quality product but they aren't. They sit on their couch and whatever gets recorded is their take. This makes them really funny for some stuff and really bad at others. Their playlists are frustratingly short and you have to switch playlists constantly if you're off grinding for a few hours. They're just ok, not great.

Most good LP'ers have already been mentioned, but I also really like The Heartless (or Steve as he is also known). He mostly does series and ends up getting angry at bad mechanics or nonsense in games.

wow i fucking love the heartless, cant believe that. everyone always mentions the big popular names (i cant stand most of them)good on you my man. i would also recommend storpey (also named steve) and Mack and mesh. RoseErifnosi is a more slow paced lp'er who loves great story in games, if you like that sort of thing i would recommend her.

A while back ProtonJon did a four player LP race of Battletoads. All four people in that race are good to watch. Go watch that race, and then watch which of the four you liked the most.

Mangaminx's Amnesia LP is one of the best. If you can get buy her slightly grating voice at first, you're rewarded with some of the best reaction screams on Youtube.

Necroscope86, Kikoskia, ScottishDuck17, and Jefmajor are some of my favorite comedic LP'ers. They also do a range of different genres.

If your in the mood for something maybe a little more serious, but still comedic, I highly recommend Jingles1215, and Veriax. They tend toward RP'ing some of the Elder Scrolls games, but they can be quite funny at times.

Some honorable mentions as well: MrSpaceGrape, Shellibix, 8bitCitizen, Jplay85, and last but not least, TheWinterOwl.

They're all quite decent LP'ers, so I highly recommend giving them a shot if your bored, or looking for a good LP.

Nerdcubed is definitely my favorite gaming youtuber at the moment. He doesn't really do a single series of one game (Although he's been doing more of that recently) but instead plays one game for a 15 to 40 minute heavily edited video which are almost always concentrated condensed funny. Some of my personal favorites are his counter strike lets play, his farming simulator 2011 lets play (he played crappy simulators BEFORE IT WAS COOOOOOL!), hitman: blood money, assassins creed revelations, planetside 2, and his entire indie games playlist (There's too many good ones to list although some of the highlights are overgrowth, toribash, and amnesia).

SuperGreatFriend makes some good stuff. I can especially recommend his Shadow Man [http://lparchive.org/Shadow-Man/], Deadly Premonition [http://lparchive.org/Deadly-Premonition/] and Spy Fiction [http://lparchive.org/Spy-Fiction/] LPs.

I recommend three LPs

Chuggaaconroy's Pikmin LP:

<youtube=wZF2Shvy-7w>

NerdCubed's brief tryout of Train Simulator 2013
<youtube=bVH7VVJL0Jc>

And the funny-yet-terrifying "Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing"

<quote=Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing>

How the hell does this asshole even know my name, unless? holy FUCK. It suddenly penetrates my 8-year-old brain like a brick through a convenience store window. They're all in on it. The mysterious cabbie that took off with all my shit, being forced to wear work clothes, the impossible sudden debt, the guarded gates? its all one big conspiracy.

I'm trapped here. And I'm alone.
