Well, I have a couple that haven't been mentioned yet.

There's "Tales of the Questor," which you can find here:
http://rhjunior.com/totq/00001.html
This is one of my favorites. I think this guy is one of the best webcomic writers I know. While he can be a bit anvillicious at times, his comics (of which he has seven, now) feature some excellent social commentary, characters, and strong Christian undertones (if you're into that; if you're not don't worry, I'm an atheist and they don't bother me).

The other one I have is "Freefall," here:
http://freefall.purrsia.com/fcdex.htm
This one keeps up the whole "joke-a-day" thing with moderate success, but the real draw is the careful attention to realistic science and the question of the rights deserved by artificial intelligences.

Wow, you have quite a bit of reading to do. Stock up on some anti-radiation pills and inform all your loved ones what you're doing beforehand. I don't know about you, but I'm quite the archive-binger, and when I get into webcomics like the two above either my mom will report me missing to the police or I'll get radiation poisoning from the glow of my computer screen.

Since the other comics I was going to recommend have been listed of mentioned, I'll go to one of my old favorites: The Last Days of Foxhound. It ended almost two years ago and the art is the kind of MS Paint copy and paste stuff that's just barely above a sprite comic, but the writing is excellent, the characters are memorable, and it puts a fun spin on the Metal Gear games.

It really helps if you've played the Metal Gear Solid games, but it's not mandatory. You might miss a few in-jokes if you've never played a Metal Gear game, but the comic does a good job of filling in the gaps between its own story and the games. In fact, it even fills in some of the series' plot holes in a more appealing way than what we saw in MGS4.
I've been ninja'd! i just edited my post to include that one before I read your post. It makes me not want to play metal gear again though, seeing as you kill them all and I was very attached to Wolf and Raven by the end of it... Man, it was a pretty great comic...

Three Panel Soul
The same guy who made the most excellent Mac Hall started a much more autobiographical strip which is still worth reading.

Something Positive
Just for the cynicism. An, and if your looking for length, this comic has some serious length.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal
Mostly single panel stuff, but sheer genius from overwhelming irony

Cat and Girl
Little difficult to get into, and guaranteed to inspire a few trips to Wikipedia. But worth it, despite the effort.

Girls With Slingshots
Not sure what else to say, just enjoyable and well drawn.

It's good to see that someone gave you QC to read, but I also recommend Anders <3's Maria. :)

Looked over your list, didn't see these:

Alien Loves Predator [http://alienlovespredator.com/]
El Goonish Shive [http://egscomics.com/]

Both are still fairly regular updates.

Yeah I heard Lackadaisy is pretty awesome but I haven't had time to go read it yet.

My favs are XKCD and Penny Arcade.

I also heard Starfighter is a good one for those liking sci-fi man-loving.

There's Khaos Komix for those who like a complex story-telling and a variety of sexual persuasions (bi, straight, gay, trans).

I've also been recommended to read the following:

- Least I Could Do
- Looking For Group
- Virtual Shackles
- PPP Online

I'm probably going to get lynched for saying this but .....Control Alt Delete. I know there was a really sad storyline, but I do not care! I like it, and I think it's really funny. www.cad-comic.com

Also, didn't double check if anyone said this but Between Failures. One of the greatest additions to the slacker genre I have ever seen. Really likable characters, a tad slow storywise but still fulfilling. www.betweenfailures.com

Edit: I forgot to hyperlink them. Thought the forum would do that automatically.
