Team RIP is a 8+ Year Old Clan. We recently made the switch back to BF2 after a stint in COD4 & COD:WAW. We made the switch to get us ready for the upcoming BF1943 release. We are recruiting all positions.

What we offer:

Our own BF2 Server

Our own private Ventrillo

Our own website with forums

Group of great guys to hang out with

LAN Party - We attend one LAN Party as a group once a year

Relaxed Atmosphere - Many of our gamers are married with kids (myself included) so we know how limited time is. So we have a relaxed easy schedule. We play (3) nights a week, Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from 8pm till 10pm EST.

About Us:

TeamRIP is a veteran, multi-gaming clan. Back in the dark days of AvP2 we were a mere twinkle in Ripper's eye, but with the advent of BF1942 he decided to act ... and TeamRIP was born. Since then we've been through some incarnations (BFV, BF2, BF2142, ETQW, CoD4...) and although FPS gaming is still the core activity we've also broadened our focus to include RPG's, Racing and even some RTS.

Despite the inevitable ups and downs gaming communities tend to have, TeamRIP has always weathered the storm. We encourage a mature (18+ only, sorry kids), but relaxed and fun environment. Going for the win is a given, but we try not forget it's a game ... don't forget to have fun!

Where do you sign up:

www.teamrip.net
Fill out an application
Hop on vent with us on one of our BF2 nights (Mon, Wed, Fri)
Have Fun

A gamer who wants more gamers to play with? Can't have that on a gaming forum!

That is, unless your group is going to put the word 'Escapist' in its name somewhere, then its perfectly 100% acceptable!

*rolleyes*

In that case he can ask if anyone wants to play with him. We don't tolerate advertising and it's his own stupid fault if he didn't check up first.

I'll be looking into your clan, it sounds interesting.

Don't mind the self- righteous condescending types. If the mods remove this thread then so be it. They should apologise for the condesending reception.

Yes, but there is no rational reason to deny this. They aren't advertising for a product or anything, they are more or less asking people to come have fun with them. How exactly is that really "advertising"? It more akin to an open invitation.

*spoon in lung*
Apart from the fact that this forum is for us to discuss games and related topics, not for people to stick adverts into our screaming faces. It doesn't matter whether it's a product or not, we still don't want it taking up a slot on the front page all the same.

"Advertise - call attention to"
It is advertising.

COD sucks balls.

Anyway, stop advertising you ****.

Hey hey hey, no need to diminish CoD because of this moron... okay you can bash Treyarch all you want but leave Infinity ward alone ^.^

Also, he said he was going to BF1943, which is odd because that is a remake for the console tards to the point where the only map that's new you hafta unlock. Really, EA gets away with this stuff and people still buy from them. I don't get it.

Report. All threads advertise to a minimal degree, but blatant advertising is not what people want to see on here
