Hey escapists! does anyone know why the red button badge is persistently staying in my top 4 badges? I've been moving it down the list for months now and lo and behold it returns. Basically im at breaking point with the bloody thing, please help me before I go cream crackers. Ta

Edit: Click it once a day and it'll go away eventually.

OT - I'm not sure, I've never had that issue with any of my badges.
Also, how can it have been doing it for 'months' when you joined in July? It's still August.

It's Escapist Magazine's plan to trigger 2012.

When there are 2012 accounts on the magazine all at once with the red button, the Escapist will transform into Skynet and wreak havoc on the world, destroying it at December 21, 2012.

... Or maybe it's just a faulty glitch and they're working on fixing it right now, I dunno.

Ah, i had the same problem for ages!
Not sure how it fixed itself, but i beleive i pushed it out with other badges, by nudging it to the side and not directly dragging it.

Ah, the red button never gets old. As soon as it gets mentioned, you just know that someone is going to click on it.

Why is it whenever we tell someone not to push something they do it anyway. As for the badge I have never been able to move it in my badges so im sorry to tell you its probably there for good.

Have you clicked it recently? This only a guess but it might return to the top when you click it.

Everyone who has gotten the red button badge, click on it again and see if it goes to the top of the list.

I knew it! Called in Connor. We have work to do. I think the badge changing takes a while anyway. Took a few hours for me last time I did it.
