Red Dead 2 !!! Hell yes!

Oh hell yes! Heard about this game a couple of days ago and just stumbled on it on another site. Let me start out by saying that I loved red Dead Revolver. Epic story, surprisingly good gameplay, and interesting characters. With just enough attitude to be worthy of Rockstar. IMO this game was way overlooked by alot of people not willing to give it a shot mainly becuase it was a western and cowboy games for the most part SUCK (cept for wildgunman). Pretty sure it got some bad reviews too.
But the new one looks sick and it's open world. Can't wait, i just hope it's longer then pt.1, it was over way too fast. I'm officially adding this to my list of upcoming 2009 games i have to have. Awesommeeee. I can't wait for it! I need a good cowboy game. Call of Juarez didn't do nearly enough for me. I've gotta pick up GUN though...that should be a bit of fun at a cheap price =D The first one was great, never played much like it afterwards...it always reminded me of Sunset Riders for some strange reason.

Oh yea.. Gun i remember that game too. It wasn't bad but i think the lead character wasn't really that rugged tough guy red was, he seemed more like a hollywood actor playing a cowboy. Actually i remember playing them one after another and somewhere in my brain they got all knotted together. I;m looking at screens from gun and im like wait a minute.. i thought red dead had the whiskey life bar.. then im seeing the slowmo sureshot mode of rdr and like ohh yea i remember that too. o.0 Cept Gun had the near impossible end boss in the mines that just throws bundles of dynamite at you and takes 50 rounds to the face and keeps mocking you. Hated that guy. And the card games, and the whore. Ahh yes it's all coming back to me. RDR was still better.

Never played RDR but I imagine any game set in the old West is gonna have a lot of overlap with other games. Indians, poker, whores, gun fights, and horse riding. That's the basic list of stuff you gotta have.

Thank GOD. Red Dead Revolver was great.
Playing multiplayer with friends never got old and the roster was very expansive.
You actually ended up liking the characters by the end of the story mode.

IMO yes, way better, and it had some kick-ass multiplayer as well. My little brother and I would play that together for hours. I'm so hyped for this game.

Oh god yes. Red dead is such a fantastic game, the control was tight and the multiplayer was extremely fun. Gun was good and all, but it just isnt Red Dead good.

RDR was a completly linear game, Gun was free roaming. Two different fish. Both cooked out west over a campfire with Indian stealth segments, but 2 different fish.
