I'm at roughly 99% on RDR. The only thing I think I have left to do is unlock the Reyes' Rebels Outfit, with means winning at Five Finger Fillet at Torqemada. Only problem is, I suck at Five Finger Fillet. I might be able to get the $10 guy once, but never twice. I always go too fast and end up hitting a finger, or too slow and losing. Does anyone have any tips, or is it just something that can't be helped sucking at?

I'm pretty bad at five finger fillet myself, but I think you can push everyone out of the queue if you start with the highest bet of £25 (might be wrong). Then you only have to beat the last guy, although he's the hardest.

I find it's easier to not look at the screen and just memorise the pattern... Hope this helps.

Just practise. By 99% completion you should have a shit load of money, so keep practising, memorise the combinations. It took me a long time, and many many frustrating attempts to win.

I'm pretty good at 5 finger, I do slip up sometimes by going too fast, but the best way I have found is by memorising the sequences and then conentrating on pressing the buttons. I don't really need to look at the screen once I get going.

I have the pattern pretty much memorized (X,O,X,Triangle,X,O,X,Triangle,X,O,X,O,X,Triangle,X,O). Actually, that's probably too long. But I always get ahead of myself and press O or Triangle early.

Yeah I have the same problem, like I said I'm not very good either. Just keep trying and you're bound to get it eventually. The more you keep doing it the better you'll get.

Keep trying!

You don't even need to look at the screen, just try to memorise the sequence, wich shouldn't be too hard, and hammer those buttons away, dont even stop until the game stops by itself.

Also COUNT your button presses, usually its a button sequence that you will repeat up to 3 times, but returning always to the X or the A button

I count it like this: A-1-A-2-A-3-A-4-A-5 repeat

Hope it helps :)

Push all the guys away from the 5 finger filet table till only one is remaining, then memorize the pattern and not look at the screen. Thats how i did it.

If it makes you feel any better, I can easily beat 5 finger fillet at the highest bet easily.

In fact, it's harder for me at any bet lower than $25.

Man that annoyed me a fair bit. I won it pretty luckily, and I was just concentrating on my pad and smashing the buttons with rage.

If I remember the last one is (on xbox) A before each one then it's just a case of going BYXBY and repeat.

I think the 10 one was a bit more annoying because it was BYBYB which means you have to remember when to do the B twice as you lose track of it.

Perhaps if you remember them musically, like "bee-why-bee-why-bee - pause - bee-why-bee-why-bee" and then the "bee-why-ex-bee-why - pause"

Like lapan suggested, I bumped into the people queuing up so they walked away, that way I only had to beat one person, then I wrote down the button combination in pairs and looked at those instead of looking at the screen.

You've probably noticed it's the same pattern of 5 pairs repeated 3 times, so the most difficult part is when the pattern repeats itself, as you have to do AB twice in a row which is irregular and can throw off your rhythm.

Even with the button combinations written down, it still took me quite a few attempts to beat it, but seeing as the button combinations never change with practice perseverance you'll get it, as long as you don't get distracted by looking at the screen or go too quickly and mess up your rhythm.

Also don't skip the other player's turn, as apparently this will give you less time to beat him.
