Red Dwarf: Back to Earth

I absolutely adore Red Dwarf and I've been anticipating this for ages Can't help feeling that rapping it all up will ruin it though.

Um they aren't rapping it up. These episode are a testing, if they pull enough viewers over the Easter weekend their are rumors of Dave trying to commission a ninth series of the show.

They've been showing Red Dwarf repeats for a while on Dave. Been enjoying it more than I thought I would.

Used to love it when i was younger and it's still funny to this day.

Can't wait for it.

The episode is set 9 years after the events of "Only the Good...", Kochanski is dead and Holly is offline due to water damage caused by Lister leaving a tap running

I hope the first bit is true. Kochanski ruined the character of Kryten, was too pivitol to the plot, and wasn't in the slightest bit funny in her own right. As for Holly, Series 6 did ok without him/her.

the guys where on GMTV (or something like that) this morning & according to them the basic story is..... and this is totaly wierd........ lister & the gang go to earth (curret earth year 2009) to find craig charles on corrie who played the character lister from red dwarf to find a/the script wrighters to get an ending to red dwarf....... yes thats as messed up as it sounds.

watched series 3 recently. Class! looking forward to friday on Dave, just hope it's good.
Was it as popular in America as people say it was? I remember watching the cast at some comic con in the states, and people were going wild for them.

=D thanks for telling me when it is, i knew about it but i wasnt sure when it was on
yaaay! i loved red dwarf, i only found out about it after they took it off and just played repeats every now and then
