NATURAL redheads. I don't like the fakey red hair color as much.
As for why a lot of men seem to like redheads, it's really quite simple. It's the same reason we find women in red dresses sexy: the color red stimulates our, shall we say, "carnal desires."

Red hair is a double recessive allele trait so they are a statistical rarity thus more valuable because of it.

Simple put, a red hair is the human equivalent of a shiny Pokemon.

Maybe I should buy a lotto ticket. Cuz I got a few family members with that combo and at least 15 of my FB friends as such. I mean, if I lived in Iraq or Japan I'd agree with you.

Look, I'm only telling you facts here. Red hair is, quite literally, THE least common natural hair colour on the planet.
Couple that with green eyes being one of the rarest EYE colours, and you get a recipe for shit not happening very often.
I mean, sure, it's not unheard of. It does occur. Just not nearly as much as media would have you believe.

I could get a percentage here but then I would have to dig it up.

Probably the reason why there's so many red haired/green eyed people in one area is cause we tend to clump. Certainly, I know of two other families than mine with red hair and green eyes. Personally, I've always thought there should be more people with heterochromia iridum (different colored eyes) as I've always thought it was neat.

Anyways, even though I am a ginger I certainly like the shade on females, though it not that important to me.

Karen Gillan is one of the most attractive people I have seen of late... I have not been stalking her! Honest! Ok I have but can you blame me?

I think it depends on the person, I know a few ginger haired people who have a normal complection and they look perfectly fine to me, where as I have quite dark hair but very pale skin.

I've had sex with a ginger girl - she had freckles all over her body and her nipples were as pale as her skin and nearly invisible. I was rather turned off by this and I'm not sure I would hookup with a ginger again.

I don't really have preference, honestly. It's all about the person.

But, if we're being completely vain here and strictly speaking about hair colour, it all comes down to the person. I've seen plenty of cute gingers with orange hair before and seen an equal number of cute people with dyed crimson hair before.

It goes the other way as well. Some people... don't look good with redhair >>
