So i was bored this evening and went searching through Steam for a Cheap game i could play, I stumbled upon this game, now from using the forum search tool i gather that this game is one of the more Realistic game compared to say COD to which i am accustomed to, i do not doubt their words as i have seen the game play, but m question is this: Do alot of people still play this game?

I've searched around and cant come up with a definite answer, some say yes, some say no, so do you play this game? would you recommend it? and are there alot of players still playing the game?

I've found out a sequel is in production but a release date has not yet been stated so I'd rather not wait for it.

It's pretty good once you get used to it. Don't think it will give you any mercy though when it comes to combat.

Yes, plenty of people still play. On the good servers, atleast. Good luck getting into those, though.

Don't buy it, really, don't. A game of Red Orchestra is like this:

Walk (several minutes), crawl as you are getting closer to the battlefield. Look for enem *SPLAT* Get sniped.

Walk again several minutes, find a lost enemy, aim for his chest and start burst firing to kill him, get desperate because you just can't hit and *SPLAT* get sniped.

Tank battles are even worse, the tank battlefield is HUGE so you'll find yourself driving for several minutes (no overstatement) and then trying to figure out the right angle to shoot because of the unpredictable arc.

Slow paced and uninteresting gameplay. Buy only if you feel like torturing yourself :p

(Maybe someone on this forum has a guest pass left? You get 2 with the game but I already gave them away)

Yeah it's not that bad, usually I have no problem finding a game. It's just sometimes at peak hours that I'm left without a space in a good server.
