It's what I did with Mass Effect (the original), and man, I enjoyed it. The side quests are on the monotonous side, so I'm sure it helped with that too.
Anyway, renting games for cheap is great, but I don't see myself ever using this.
You pretty much summed up my situation perfectly, gamefly just charges too much for the like..two games I rent every 6 months from them. Not because theres a shortage of interest, Im just too lazy to send the damn things back more than once every 7 weeks lol. It was bleeding my wallet dry. With my rate of rental and return, the gamefly membership actually costs me more than just buying those games new.CD-R said:Finally. I've been wondering what to do about game rentals since Block Buster and Hollywood video both closed since I don't rent games often enough to justify having a Gameflye account.

summer vacation when friends don't wanna do anything then I guess sitting down and trying to beat a game is all there is to do in a dayBrainst0rm said:Games take a lot longer to play than movies - and who ever has one WHOLE DAY to go through a game?
The way this is worded it sounds like its basically legitimized piracy. Im thinking thats not what was intended or how it actually operates. But if that is in fact the way redbox operates then we must promptly gather the torches and pitchforks and dispose of this heinous abomination.Earnest Cavalli said:The impressively clever bit is that instead of stocking each kiosk with thousands of films and games, the machine writes your selection to disc(s) on the spot.
