Simple enough, time for some happiness and lightness of tone.

I recently rediscovered the song 'Innocent Eyes' by Delta Goodrem, and it reminded me of some of the few good times I had at high school. When I had finished listening to it I had a big smile on my face.

So what have you rediscovered that made you remember the good times? Was it a movie? A game? Music or a book? Share all. Just give us the title and a vague description, or go into more detail if you wish.

A note to all: No judging anyone in this thread, we're here to be happy.

Final Fantasy X. Going back to re-play that after a couple year hiatus made me remember such good times in my life. ^_^

-The Land Before Time. It almost makes me cry.
-Hugging my stuffed animals before going to sleep (Don't give me that look. It's very comforting and nostalgic at the same time)
-Legend of Mana

I did too!

This old movie I was always watching when I was a young girl. It's called That Thing You Do!
I recently saw it on "the telly" and had the most spiritual moment ever. Like how they say that you come back to the place you were born. Except for me it was 'you always watch again the movie you once watched'. That same day I bought the soundtrack.

The next weekend I joined The Escapist, and was thinking "What could be a cool username?" And then it hit me: No Oneder.

Here's the link [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117887/], if you're really interested:
EDIT:I altered some of the lettering and added the link to the word 'link'.

Spotify does this to me a lot with music I'd forgotten about.

I've also had an old friend appear on Facebook recently, which was also nice.

The Rescued Bean.

When I was young, somewhere between the age of four and seven (can't remember exactly), I used to love playing with dry beans. Pouring them from cup to cup, throwing them everywhere, making piles of them?I was a weird kid.

Anyway, my dad couldn't stand the beans. I forget what exactly the precipitating event was (I think he found the bean in his shoe or something), he got fed up and decided to flush the bean down the toilet. I am not making that up. My dad threw the bean in the toilet and was about to flush it when I came running in screaming at him to not flush it. He used one of those green fish nets to get the bean out, washed it off, coated it in tape, and stuck it on a piece of paper labeled "The Rescued Bean." Looking back, I'm fairly certain he was being sarcastic about this. I loved that little paper plaque with the bean. I kept it for a while, but eventually, it got lost. In the ensuing years, the Bean became something of a family legend. More infamy than fame I would say, though.

Now, I'm 15. Just a couple weeks ago, we were packing up to move, and my mom found the original Rescued Bean poster at the far back of some drawer, somewhat crumpled. It had been lost for years, I had given up ever seeing it. Very nostalgic moment.

Yes, I have a weird family.

The Fifth Element, I found it lying on a school computer's desktop about 3 years after we watched half of it in class, and I thought 'OMFG ITS THAT FUCKING AWESOME MOVIE I SAW' and shoved it on my pendrive.

Crash Bandicoot PSX series, those were unbelievable games.

Kind of Spyro too.

L4D1. Hadn't played it in an age, and for all of L4D2's gameplay improvements (DON'T START, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE :p) I can't help but prefer L4D1's atmosphere.

And I kinda hug something at night...my first machete, childish I know, but it brings back such memories of being eight...

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO I AM.

OT: I rediscovered my love of Warhammer 40,000 tabletop and everything else after a year or so long gap.
