Now, normally I'd be loathe to start a thread about showing ads before videos on any site, let alone here, where I'm only on around once a week to watch the new Zero Punctuation and have a look at the forums, but I'm kind of stumped.
All very well to show adverts in order to gain revenue for the company, and I've never really been bothered by it before - getting only the occasional ad for every ten or so videos - but for a while now I'd thought about having a Zero Punctuation spree and today I attempted to act on that.
As I said, while maybe one ad every ten videos is suitable, unobtrusive and not worth complaining about, today I've been forced to watch the same 20-second mini-trailer for the same movie on every goddamn video in succession. I tried to look through the Daily Drop sequences earlier too, and it happened on every single one.
I'm all for ads generating revenue for the site but it's never happened this much before and quite frankly it's tedious and boring when you have to sit through the same twenty seconds of film trailer repeatedly.
Anyone else got this too?
