Regeneration: A Transformers RP (Started/Open)

Cybertron, seventeen Orbital Cycles after the end of the Civil War. Megatron was slain, his allies arrested, the army in shambles. The Transformers' home planet has been resettled, Optimus Prime leading its reconstruction. The exodus of Cybertron was over, and a new Golden Age looms.

This is an age rebirth. This is an age of warriors, of diplomats and scientists. This is the age of regeneration.

This. Isn't about that.​

With Optimus and the Autobots re-building Cybertron after the Fall of Megatron, what about that planet that Optimus called his home for so long?
As a sign of thanks to the people of earth for putting up with weekly giant robot battles, Optimus decided to send a unit of Autobots to protect the earth as well as to scout for any remaining Decepticons.
You are one of the Bots to draw the short straw...

<spoiler=Notes> Alright, so I, Diablo1099, was talking to the Former head of this RP, Simply put, he didn't have the time for it, so that's why I'm taking over.
This is going to be Broad Strokes Canon with parts cherry picked from all the different versions from G1 to the Live Action Movies [sub](0_0)[/sub]

Basically, After Cybertron shut down, The Autobots fled to Earth, Megatron followed, They figured out how to reboot the planet, they did that, Optimus defeated Megatron, Boom, up to speed.

Appearance: A overview of what you look like, Colours, Features, Decals, Badge if any.

Alignment: You can be either a Autobot or a Decepticon Spy, up to you.

Alt Mode: We ARE Transformers after all, but feel free to have more unconventional forms, Like Dino-Bots, Mix it up a bit.
And if you see someone with the same form, please pick another one, We don't need 5 players that are all Tanks.

Weapons: You get 3 slots:
Bread and Butter: Your everyday instrument of pain and sadness, Lasers Guns, Sword, what you're character will be using 90% of the time.

BFG: Your Bigger Gun if you so desire, Missiles, Bombs, RYNO, Etc. Note taking one of these will affect your character's speed and mobility as well as paint a target on your back.

Gadget: Special skills, Grapples, Cloak, Flight outside of vehicle form, Stuff like that, surprise me!

Other Skills: This is for things like Hacking, Medical, Engineering, You can pick more than one, but please be reasonable and like the Forms, try to avoid to having many with the same skills

Bio: Just some back story, maybe some experiences of war on Cybertron, How they got sent to Earth, Etc.

they are focused on bots and reply in msg so i can fully explain what a master type bot is as they each work differently it would allow him to follow stuff without having to worry of it not focusing on bots sense there are some good plots that involve them from the comics.

Bio: Nine had left cybertron when she was very young to avoid the war. She didn't like to take sides, not in the war or a debate between friends. When one of her friends got killed during the early days of the war, she fled the planet not wanting to experience death anymore than what she had already experienced.

While she was out looking for a new place to call home, the bot found a place called earth. She arrived roughly in 1924 and landed her tiny ship in the Baldwin locomotive works. Upon seeing a nearby steam engine, she scanned it and cannibalized her ship for the rest of the parts needed to transform. Her life was spent being used by humans for their needs as she grew to like the humans a bit.
Sometime later, when she realized that her current form was going to be disused, she acquired another truck form to continue surviving hidden. When the war came to earth, she kept to herself still. A few times, bots from each side bothered her. In the end, Nine accounted for a few of the missing bots that were never found during the war. Protecting humans had become a main objective.

Only when megatron had been killed, did she come forward to the bots sent to protect earth. Being the newest addition to the team and one of the bots more familiar with the earth, she was one that wasn't fully trusted.

All I'll say is it sounds fun. But theory to practice is another thing. I'm willing to give it a shot though. Like atom smashing Russian Roulette.

Age: 277

Gender: Male

Standing an average 20 feet tall, Dimentio strikes an interesting figure. His, face, looks nothing more than a half black with a yellow eye and half white with a black eye theater mask. His head is crowned by a metallic pointed, jester looking hat. The "hat" can be raised and lowered as needed, and often reflects his emotions. Upwards in a good mood, downwards when sad, if ever. His shoulder guards are nothing more than two pieces of angled metal bursting out to a deadly point. Arms are set to accommodate the internally housed weaponry, the lower half looks much like a gauntlet due to this housing feature, the outer half points off past the elbow, alt form mid stabilizers set at 90 degrees parallel to his arms. His torso is larger at the top and 18.25% smaller at it's base, as well as being sloped or curved downwards at varying angles from the pecs to mid stomach. The twin thrusters are housed on his lower back, while the wings take up the upper portion and are adjustable to the need while in bot form. Legs are like his shoulder guards. Simple an angled piece of metal covering the front of the structure, this is for both upper and lower with space allowed for bending and such. The vertical and horizontal stabilizers are set on the back of his legs, with the larger horizontal ones facing straight backwards while the vertical jut out at 45 degrees. Feet are shaped much like the pic, but with more of the middle portion filled in.

Color scheme is much like the pic below, other than the torso. Which is mostly black other than purple pin-striping along the four major vertical angles. And the stabilizers which have two swept back diagonal yellow and purple bars respectively.

Alignment: Dimentio is a former Decepticon, not wanting to languish in prison defected to join the Autobots. Loyalty is (By some) always in question due to his past.

Alt Mode:

Weapons: You get 3 slots:
Bread and Butter: Two 3 barrel gatling laser guns. (Right/left forearm mounted, interior folding when not in use).

BFG: Fusion Cannon. (Non mounted, holstered on let)

Gadget: Flight outside of vehicle form. Radar.

Other Skills:Spying, sabotage, and computer programing/repair.

Personality: The best way I can describe it is it's like Gir, but not. Much more witty, intelligent and satirical. But retaining much of the enthusiasm.

Bio: Dimentio was commissioned by Lord Megatron 258 cycles before the war ended. Along with many other soldiers. His earliest memory is one of Megatron, who he thought his creator 'mother', and of the 300 ton machine that created his parts. Who he substituted to be his 'mother' because he thought Megatron being it was creepy as fuck and anything else was better.

After being taught the basics. He was tossed into the crucible of war. For the next 35 cycles he gained more skills and knowledge of things, but thankfully war didn't define his personality, or maybe it did. Are psychopathic tendencies related? But most of the time he spent getting his ass kicked by the Autobots because his teammates sucked. Tired of said thousands off ass kickings he put in for a transfer (Speaking of those ass kickings, Dimentio believes he's become some sort of cosmic plaything. Someone with a sick sense of humor must like him) to the stealth division. Here he did much better in terms of success because he could work alone.

Now toss up a few hundred cycles to before the war ended. Dimentio was on Cybertron, fighting the evil fight and all. He killed a few Autobots, slowed the invasions completion by 3 days he figures (exaggerated, maybe 3 minuets). But when the coin was about to fall he just upped and quit, watching the fights from the ruins with nothing else better to do. A few days after the end he was caught, giving no resistance as they took him in. Dimentio decided not to sit around long, betraying his fellow Decepticon's and switching sides for freedom. Quote from time at switching "I figure it's better working for you and being free and about than rusting to death in a cell for a now non existent cause. I didn't like the old ways all to much, all war and no fun".

Forward to near to now. Dimentio was assigned to Earth. Reasons being they needed someone with his skills on the team. Other bots didn't like him all to much. The fact he asked to go first, he wants adventure and such. He's just glad he was chosen to go, the reason's don't matter, unless they were trying to kill him 0_o. Not dead yet, good sign.

Bread and Butter: Large broadsword. While considered ceremonial, it is still well made and able to kill lightly armored foes.

Gadget: A large shield, meant for blocking.

Other Skills: Knowledge of Mythology (Useless. Yaaaay.), disciple of Metallikato.

Bio: Long ago, before the war began, Knight Convoy was a warrior. Not that he had ever been in battle. In fact, he hadn't faced an opponent that had any intention other than training. That was because he was a Knight. The <link=http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Knights_of_Cybertron>Knights of Cybertron were a religious order following the commandments of the First Thirteen, the Chosen of Primus. While trained to fight, he was drilled in the ways of peace and conflict prevention. When war broke out, the Knights secluded themselves even further, cutting off near all access to the outside world.

Convoy, as one of the younger knights, was brash and eager to join the war. Of course, the Knights did not take sides, and to them, life went on as near normal. But all that changed when a Decepticon Void Cannon struck the temple. With no exterior shields or armor, the entire building-and order-was destroyed in one shot. Convoy was one of the three survivors. After this, restraint was gone Convoy joined the Autobots, and made it a point to kill every Decepticon he came across. Near the end of the war, it was clear that he was dangerous. Convoy was eventually arrested and charged with multiple cases of second degree murder.

Though not found guilty, the charge took a toll on Convoy. He was, rather than rebuild Cybertron, sent onto a shuttle to hunt down the last of the Cons on Earth. Soon, he hopes to go back, and restore the Knights of Cybertron to the glory they deserve.

Tiger, Been a while since Star Wars Cold War, This is all right, just note I'm going with the logic of his Skills being a standard understanding of each with a more in depth knowledge for spying, just don't want things too easy.

Not a bad sheet, just one problem, See while you might be correct on the terminology of a Steam Train, Bottomline is Mcpop picked it out first and like I said in the OP, I don't want people with forms that are basically the same.
Can you fix that?

As for the Canon, I'm going broad strokes because I don't intend to get bogged down with minor details.
Basically, Autobots won, Decepticons shattered, Unit on earth.
Hell, if anything this RP will be more G1 in nature...

Forward to near to now. Dimentio was assigned to Earth. Reasons being they needed someone with his skills on the team. Other bots didn't like him all to much. The fact he asked to go first, he wants adventure and such. He's just glad he was chosen to go, the reason's don't matter, unless they were trying to kill him 0_o. Not dead yet, good sign.

Tiger, Been a while since Star Wars Cold War, This is all right, just note I'm going with the logic of his Skills being a standard understanding of each with a more in depth knowledge for spying, just don't want things too easy.

Bio: Long ago, before the war began, Knight Convoy was a warrior. Not that he had ever been in battle. In fact, he hadn't faced an opponent that had any intention other than training. That was because he was a Knight. The <link=http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Knights_of_Cybertron>Knights of Cybertron were a religious order following the commandments of the First Thirteen, the Chosen of Primus. While trained to fight, he was drilled in the ways of peace and conflict prevention. When war broke out, the Knights secluded themselves even further, cutting off near all access to the outside world.

Convoy, as one of the younger knights, was brash and eager to join the war. Of course, the Knights did not take sides, and to them, life went on as near normal. But all that changed when a Decepticon Void Cannon struck the temple. With no exterior shields or armor, the entire building-and order-was destroyed in one shot. Convoy was one of the three survivors. After this, restraint was gone Convoy joined the Autobots, and made it a point to kill every Decepticon he came across. Near the end of the war, it was clear that he was dangerous. Convoy was eventually arrested and charged with multiple cases of second degree murder.

Though not found guilty, the charge took a toll on Convoy. He was, rather than rebuild Cybertron, sent onto a shuttle to hunt down the last of the Cons on Earth. Soon, he hopes to go back, and restore the Knights of Cybertron to the glory they deserve.

Not a bad sheet, just one problem, See while you might be correct on the terminology of a Steam Train, Bottomline is Mcpop picked it out first and like I said in the OP, I don't want people with forms that are basically the same.

As for the Canon, I'm going broad strokes because I don't intend to get bogged down with minor details.

Hell, if anything this RP will be more G1 in nature...
