I live in the Midwest, so I've really got nothing to look forward to besides music. I know most people have a preferred genre of music, but I also know a lot of those genres came out of specific regional music scenes that spread elsewhere (i.e. The Desert Palm scene, New Orleans blues, Harlem Jazz, Norwegian Black Metal etc.). As a matter of curiosity, what's your personal favorite area-specific music scene?
