Now that I'm thinking about it, I find it kind of unfair that a if a woman was acting sluty or flirting, people would pay no attention, but if a man was doing the same towards woman, he'd be arrested or something.

Don't let the girl make the first move, if they haveto because you're too afraid the relationship will be hanging by a thin thread to start with, and you really don't want to have that.
I understand how hard it is, but if you really want the girl this hasto be done. (or kidnapping... but that is ill-advised)

I reject by stating upfront that I don't find the person attractive. I've never been rejected, though that's mostly because I don't ask somebody out unless I'm completely sure that they like me.

I was hanging out with some friends and this girl just decided to hold this guys hand. The boy has never shown interest in her and even talked shit about her a couple times. By now they are a full blown couple.

Last year I had to turn two girls down. Gives ya some sympathy for anyone who's rejected you. Akward experiance

Yeah, that's why I had to say no. Well actually, I played the "I like you, as a friend" card. I felt terrible and shallow, but we didn't really match up personality-wise anyways.

Well, let's think about instinct. The male is supposed to make babies with anyone he can, spread his sperm around like grass seed. Females are supposed to mate with the best male possible so the baby gets the best traits for survival, and have to be much more selective. That's pretty much where the whole "boy asks out girl" thing comes from anyway. I think of it as a mating ritual.
