Religous Festivals

*Before I start I don't care about your opinion on God only the question i'm asking*

What got me thinking about this is that tonight and last night a few kind people who were presumably muslim(unless i'm mistaken by the religon) came to our door to give us food, I think it is Ramadam(sp) when they don't eat during the day and eat alot at night, and since I live near a building where they teach them about their holy book. Well me loving my food I cherrished this moment and nom'd the all the food.

So what is your favourite religous festival or any festival ? and why is it your favourite?

Christmas for pressies or Happy Zombie Jesus day (easter) because I get chocolate, basically any festival in which I get given things or get drunk which includes a surprisingly large amount of them.

Anything which lets me drink lots and eat lots. Christmas is a prime contender. I've never really celebrated Oktoberfest but as far as I know there's lots of food involved there. I could get into celebrating that.

Christmas. It has food of the Thanksgiving, presents of my birthday, and not going to work/school. It is near perfect.

Phew, I did use "Orgies" Correctly.

Must have been confusing it with something else that would make me sound weird...

Manson had an orgy once. LSD sugar cubes, Beatles in the background, ('Twas Helter Skelter, of course.) dancing, I mean, really. A guy who does that can't be totally insane.

Christmas, also, some of the Shinto ones are pretty neat (I've heard worse excuses to drink amirite?).

I also like thanksgiving because I get a long weekend, and if my birthday is aligned right it's even longer. Oh yeah, and the food.
