The first game is a miserable experience in my opinion. The customization is great, but the rest of the game is just a pain to play; weird lag spikes, tons of graphical pop in and pretty terrible PAY TO WIN gameplay. I honestly don't understand how anyone can actually enjoy that game...

Maybe they should fix the first one before they shit out another abomination onto the world...

Wait, did that video have "slow time" mechanics in a multiplayer game?

Ooh boy, seems like the devs haven't quite thought this through........

Dude, if you want to make an MMO that survives, well, here's the main rule:

#1 Release it for the PC
Like they did with APB.

And Tablua Rasa.

And The Sims Online.

And the Matrix Online.

So unfortunately that's a terrible main rule. More MMOs have been released on the PC than any other platform and more MMOs have died on the PC than for any other platform.

As for this Kickstarter: terrible. Why would I want to pay a company to mod their own product? Especially one so wrapped up in failure as APB? Why isn't Reloaded using some of those APB profits to make this game instead of trying to pre-sell another version of the title? Oh, that's right: free money.

Huh... didn't the original APB flop pretty quickly? Can anyone with a better memory than my fishhead give a short explanation what went wrong? Or am I mixing it up with another game (that parcour-shooter-thing with the ships and the glass city on the horizon?).

Bullet time in multiplayer? How is that supposed to work?
it flop becasue it was shit.

APB is a great game, on paper. when you start playing it you realize that it has a whole lot of 5 missions cycling same 10 locations with the map the size of HALF of first city in GTA 3, and little to do. a lot od costumization leading to no goal, everyone just driving like an idiot, the only work for police is to shoot everyone not police. in the end its a regular shooter with very poor mechanics and only active in certain locations (cant shoot randoms, no damage).
and i still love that game.

So unfortunately that's a terrible main rule. More MMOs have been released on the PC than any other platform and more MMOs have died on the PC than for any other platform.
well, DUH. and how many MMOs have survived on consoles? zero. Well ok, we got ONE now, DUST514.
