Remastered / Re-released Games - What would you want to see?

The Tenchu series. I played Wrath of Heaven to death, and there haven't been any solid Tenchu games since 2003. At least not on a platform that I own. Friggin' Xbox exclusives.

Pretty much every N64 game. Ocarina of Time, Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie the list goes on. All great games but the graphics don't really appeal any more and the N64 controller didn't have dual analogue sticks to which I am now accustomed. I think some of them have been ported to modern consoles, but I'd like to see a complete overhaul of the visual side of the game provided the story is left alone.

Maybe Burnout 3 as well. I don't especially like driving games but Burnout 3 was one of my favourite Xbox titles regardless and I think the first game I played on Xbox Live.

I also wouldn't mind spending good money on a collection of all of the early Final Fantasy games if they came with 3D sprites or something, not a fully 3D game mind you.

I would like a console remastered collection of Vanillaware games: Princess Crown, Odin Sphere, and Oboro Muramasa. Muramasa is even getting a Vita re-release and Princess Crown got a PSP re-release.

I'd love to see a remake of Metal Gear 1+2 and Metal Gear solid even though we have Twin snakes.

It is really weird that MGS HD Collection lacks Metal Gear Solid 1.

Yeah that irked me quite a bit since I was expecting an actual proper collection consisting of:

Metal Gear
Metal Gear 2
Metal Gear solid
Metal Gear Solid 2
Metal Gear Solid 3
Peace Walker
Portable ops
VR missions from MGS 1+2

And maybe then MGS4 because to me that would pretty much be an actual collection rather than just two games.

The Hitman HD collection notwithstanding (because it's just that, an HD rerelease), I'd have liked to see Hitman 1 and 2 brought up to the gameplay engine of Contracts and Blood Money, with AI improvements and bug fixes.

I'd love it if someone were to give Resident Evil 2 and 3 the same treatment they gave the original for the REmake.
I would give my ban account information to Capcom if they REmaked 2 and 3.

I know they're being ported without upgrades to PSN, but an HD Collection of the 3 PS2 Grand Theft Auto games would be pretty awesome. They're still some of the best sandbox games out there, especially San Andreas

Flashback but I would want it remade as it could benefit in story and gameplay from modern technology.

Already in the works, [http://www.computerandvideogames.com/387669/flashback-hd-looks-set-for-consoles-and-pc/#] they say they are not messing with the gameplay or anything. Supposedly its just a graphical update with hi res textures, modern lighting and effects. The rest of the game and its mechanics and tone will be left alone.

If thats true it will be awesome.

I'd like to see a re-released Mass Effect 2, this time as a proper space opera/non-shitty cover shooter.

Also a remastering of Jade Empire. That game had a ton of potential, and just needed a second run-through to iron out all the kinks.

DX1 has New Vision, options for OpenGL or DirectX, as well as a massive mod collection. Also, The Nameless Mod.

Soul Reaver / The legacy of Kain games. I really want more done with the series.

This would be great, it's such a huge story and they need to finish it, but word/rumor is that it's going to be rebooted. I can't remember where I heard it though.

Twin Snakes was so hard to come by when it came out in my country, that finding a PAL version will cost you a lot, that said, I'd love a remake of the first game, provided they get the same voice actors.

I wouldn't call this HD by any stretch but I've been playing some NES games recently and I would love to see a remake of games like Gargoyle's Quest and, the Castlevania trilogy using nothing but the same limitations that would be on those games if they were remade for the Super Nintendo. Super Castlevania was great and I've heard great things about Demon's Crest (Gargloyle's Quest 3) but what I'm looking for is a remake of those older games exactly as they are only with the SNES graphics.

Also Star Tropics. Star Tropics with Super Nintendo graphics would be like a mix of Final Fantasy VI and, Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past.

The 'original' Final Fantasies (VII through X-2).
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time.
Suikoden series.
Xenosaga series--or, you know, finish the series correctly this time.
Diablo and Diablo II on console ports. It can be done.
Kingdom Hearts series--okay, we're half way there.

And X-Wing. I gladly trade each one of those games' remakes if someone would get X-wing re-made with modern graphics. Don't change the story, don't change the controls (unless you put it on a console, yes please), don't change anything. Just update the graphics and give it to me. PLEASE! I need to be a pilot again!

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. One of the best western rpg's I ever played, despite the fact it runs like a piece of shit. Slap a better engine on it with updated graphics and BAM, greatest rpg of all time. Other games included Majora's Mask, Thief 2, and Deus Ex.

And for something nobody has said thus far, Fable: The Lost Chapters would be amazing brought up to today's graphical standards. Possibly Battlefront 1/2 as well, although a third would be both more likely and better.
